State-by-State Innovation in America

Each year Fast Company highlights “Fast Cities” or where people flock to dream, create, build, and rebuild. They look for bold ideas that promise to enrich our cities and economies, and highlighted this year’s 2011 City of the Year to be Houston. In Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Public Market was selected and here’s what they had to say: “In 2005, after a decade of planning, the Milwaukee Public Market opened downtown. The market has anchored the rebirth of the Third Ward, which now typifies urban gentrification, with roaming hipsters and chichi design shops.” Click on the map of America below to see each hot spot in every state. Enjoy!
